to include the additional language &#8220;The applicant may add the Foundational Mathematics, Foundational Language Arts, Foundational Social Studies or Foundational Science endorsement by receiving a passing score of the appropriate Commission-approved subject master test. \u00a0The applicant is not required to complete the pedagogy requirements for adding an endorsement to a Preliminary Teaching License as provided in Chapter 584, Division 220.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>AMENDED RULE\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><strong>Application Processing Requirements and Procedures<\/strong><strong>\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>This amendment requires the use of the online licensing\u00a0system for all licensure applications. \u00a0The amendment includes &#8220;Evaluation of Application: Licenses, registrations and certificates are issued based on the evidence in the applicant account at the time of evaluation. \u00a0If an applicant submits additional acceptable evidence within 30 days of the date of issuance of a license, registration or certificate, the Director of Licensure, or designee, may re-evaluate the issuance without a new application and fee.&#8221; The amendment also further clarifies how TSPC will respond to applications submitted within the 120 day grace period post expiration of a TSPC issued license.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>AMENDED RULE<\/strong><\/em><strong> Professional Teaching License &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>This amendment clarifies how a teacher may demonstrate qualifying years of teaching experience.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>AMENDED RULE\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><strong>Teacher Leader License &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>This amendment clarifies eligibility for the Teacher Leader License qualifications.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>AMENDED RULE\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><strong>Reciprocal Teaching License &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>This amendment corrects grammatical errors and clarifies out-of-state or out-of-country provisions.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>AMENDED RULE\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><strong>Legacy<\/strong><strong>\u00a0Teaching License &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>This amendment\u00a0removes the eligibility requirement that requires that applicants hold a teaching license issued by a National Association of State Directors of Teacher Education and Certification (NASDTEC) jurisdiction prior to January 1, 1999.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>AMENDED RULE\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><strong>Restricted Teaching License &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>This amendment\u00a0updates section 6(b) to state &#8220;Have never held a Restricted Teaching License or ESEA Teaching License;&#8221; \u00a0Adds a note that states &#8220;The applicant may have previously held an emergency, limited, or restricted substitute license, as well as a charter school registration.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>AMENDED RULE\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><strong>Elementary Education &#8211; Multiple Subjects: Program Standards<\/strong><strong>\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>This amendment\u00a0revises language to reference\u00a0newly adopted reading instruction standards and dyslexia instruction requirements and also revises the edTPA provision to refer to &#8220;a teacher performance assessment&#8221; rather than the edTPA.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>AMENDED RULE\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><strong>Reading Intervention<\/strong><strong>: Program Standards<\/strong><strong>\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>This amendment\u00a0replaces references to &#8220;Interventionist&#8221; with\u00a0&#8220;Intervention&#8221; and references\u00a0newly adopted reading instruction standards and dyslexia instruction requirements. \u00a0The amendment also revises\u00a0the edTPA provision to refer to &#8220;a teacher performance assessment&#8221; rather than the edTPA.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>AMENDED RULE\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><strong>Special Education<\/strong><strong>: Program Standards<\/strong><strong>\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>This amendment\u00a0updates title of endorsement to special education: generalist and references\u00a0newly adopted reading instruction standards and dyslexia instruction requirements. \u00a0The amendment also revises\u00a0the edTPA provision to refer to &#8220;a teacher performance assessment&#8221; rather than the edTPA. \u00a0The amendment eliminates &#8220;highly qualified&#8221; requirements.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>AMENDED RULE\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><strong>Bilingual Specialization<\/strong><strong>\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>This amendment\u00a0updates\u00a0eligibility requirements.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>AMENDED RULE\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><strong>Dual Language Specialization: Program Standards<\/strong><strong>\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>This amendment\u00a0adds provisions for approving Dual Language Specialization programs, and updates eligibility requirements.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>AMENDED RULE\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><strong>World<\/strong><strong>\u00a0Language: Program Standards<\/strong><strong>\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>This amendment removes reference to &#8220;students&#8221; and changes to &#8220;candidates.&#8221; The amendment also adds provisions for Russian and\/or Japanese endorsement testing requirements.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>AMENDED RULE\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><strong>Preliminary Teaching License<\/strong><strong>: Program Standards<\/strong><strong>\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>This amendment removes reference to &#8220;students&#8221; and changes to &#8220;candidates.&#8221; The amendment also revises\u00a0the edTPA provision to refer to &#8220;a teacher performance assessment&#8221; rather than the edTPA.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>AMENDED RULE\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><strong>Art<\/strong><strong>: Program Standards<\/strong><strong>\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>This amendment removes reference to &#8220;students&#8221; and changes to &#8220;candidates.&#8221; The amendment also revises\u00a0the edTPA provision to refer to &#8220;a teacher performance assessment&#8221; rather than the edTPA.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>AMENDED RULE:\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><strong>English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL): Program Standards &#8211;\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>This amendment removes reference to &#8220;students&#8221; and changes to &#8220;candidates.&#8221; The amendment also revises\u00a0the edTPA provision to refer to &#8220;a teacher performance assessment&#8221; rather than the edTPA.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>AMENDED RULE:\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><strong>Drama<\/strong><strong>: Program Standards &#8211;\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>This amendment removes reference to &#8220;students&#8221; and changes to &#8220;candidates.&#8221; The amendment also revises\u00a0the edTPA provision to refer to &#8220;a teacher performance assessment&#8221; rather than the edTPA.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>AMENDED RULE:\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><strong>Library Media<\/strong><strong>: Program Standards &#8211;\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>This amendment removes reference to &#8220;students&#8221; and changes to &#8220;candidates.&#8221; The amendment also revises\u00a0the edTPA provision to refer to &#8220;a teacher performance assessment&#8221; rather than the edTPA.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>AMENDED RULE:\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><strong>Music<\/strong><strong>: Program Standards &#8211;\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>This amendment removes reference to &#8220;students&#8221; and changes to &#8220;candidates.&#8221; The amendment also revises\u00a0the edTPA provision to refer to &#8220;a teacher performance assessment&#8221; rather than the edTPA.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>AMENDED RULE:\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><strong>Physical Education<\/strong><strong>: Program Standards &#8211;\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>This amendment\u00a0updates program standards to includes requirements for candidates to complete the Commission-approved test for Physical Education;
