The flipped lesson I chose to make was about Penguins. In my lesson, I included a couple of videos, images, and a quiz. I think this would be a nice tool for students to view general information about penguins. I would then split students up into groups and have them pick a type of penguin they would like to research. I feel like this tool of flipping could help get students engaged in the topic and allow them to find their own interesting facts and information. I would then have each group present the information they found to their classmates.
In reading about how to use flipped lessons it appears the idea behind it is it saves classroom instruction time because the students preview the information before the lesson. My concern would be for what younger students would do when they are not able to access the information before the lesson.
