All lesson plans do need to include the following elements, however:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>State-adopted student academic content standards that are the target of student learning (Note: Please include the number and text of each standard that is being addressed. If only a portion of a standard is being addressed, then only list the part or parts that are relevant.)<\/li><li>Learning objectives associated with the content standards<\/li><li>Formal and informal assessments used to monitor student learning, including type(s) of assessment and what is being assessed<\/li><li>Instructional strategies and learning tasks (including what you and the students will be doing) that support diverse student needs<\/li><li>Instructional resources and materials used to engage students in learning<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Source: edTPA Handbook<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pacific University faculty have developed a number of lesson plan templates for student use that align with the edTPA (Note: Some lesson plan templates contain extra elements for use with pedagogical methods courses): <a href=\"https:\/\/pacificu.box.com\/s\/m31mse64qv5at7fs94yc8881035pqsxw\">Lesson plan templates<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There is no required format or template for edTPA learning segment lesson plans, although each lesson plan may be a maximum of four pages in length.
