Project 7

Hello Guardian of Johnny Awesome,

I am writing this email to you to fill you in on a new assistive technology that we have put into place for Johnny. As you has problems with fine motor control. As such he has trouble turning pages in books when we are reading in class. While we wait for a high technology solution if there is one. I have made this low-tech assistive technology in the mean time. It is a page turner grip. I took some Popsicle sticks and glued them to the pages of the books that we will be reading. This will give Johnny a bigger target to grab at the sticks or just use the sticks as a lever to move the pages. I have included two websites so you can see what it looks like, and direction how to make your own in case you want to implement this in the home.
